Job Description

Winpak Control Group Inc. is seeking a Press Helper to support our printing press operations. The Press Helper is an essential member of the production team, supporting the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of printing presses. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and cGMP protocols, and a proactive approach to learning and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Support press setup and operation, including cleaning, installing plates, anilox rolls, and doctor blades. Review job specifications and assist with flexographic press and plate mounting processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with cGMP standards. Assist in training Press Utility personnel and perform incoming material quality checks. Begin cross-training for future Press Operator responsibilities. Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE. Required Qualifications Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like standing, walking, bending, and grasping for extended periods. Good eyesight and ability to distinguish colors. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset. Commitment to safety, cGMP protocols, and cleanliness. Completion or willingness to complete required trainings: cGMP, HazCom, and forklift safety. Preferred Qualifications Experience with printing press operations or plate mounting. Familiarity with flexographic printing. Forklift operation experience. Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset. Willingness to advance toward Press Operator roles. Additional Details This is a full-time position . This position is 100% onsite in Norwood, NJ.
Wage Range:
