Job Duties:
Focus on Safety, Quality, Waste and Productivity Maintain machine controls throughout job to meet quality and manufacturing standards. Perform quality checks throughout job to ensure quality is maintained. Interact with ERP system to record production quantities, downtime, materials consumed and view jobs. Complete computer entries and paperwork for each job as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization (5S) of work space, the machine and tooling. Skills Required:
Ideal candidate has experience running flexographic printing presses. OMET label press experience a PLUS. We will train someone who has experience running other types of production equipment. Candidate should have some mechanical knowledge, strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and desire to continually improve processes and performance. This position interacts with management, quality, inventory control and material handlers. Strong communication skills are a must. This is a second shift position (12:00PM-8:30PM), but shift assignment can change over time, Being bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
