4:00 PM - 2:00 AM | $21.00/hour We are currently seeking experienced Printing Press Operators for two separate opportunities with an established manufacturing company. Openings are available for both an Offset Press Operator and a Flexographic Press Operator . These positions are ideal for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals with previous printing press experience who take pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment. Position 1: Offset Press Operator The Offset Press Operator will operate and monitor sheet-fed offset printing equipment while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor sheet-fed offset printing presses Monitor color, registration, and overall print quality Make press adjustments as needed throughout production Read and follow work orders and production specifications Use measuring and quality-control equipment Monitor inks and other press-related materials Troubleshoot minor production and quality issues Maintain accurate production and quality records Perform daily production tasks efficiently and safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with team members and other departments Assist with leading team members when needed
Qualifications:
Previous Offset Press experience required Strong mechanical aptitude Strong color perception and attention to detail Ability to read and understand work orders and specifications Ability to perform basic math and take accurate measurements Basic computer skills preferred Ability to work independently with limited supervision Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Position 2: Flexographic Press Operator The Flexographic Press Operator will set up, operate, monitor, and maintain flexographic printing equipment while meeting established production and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate flexographic printing presses Read and follow job specifications and work instructions Complete press setup and preparation for production runs Monitor ink levels, color, alignment, and registration Adjust press speed, tension, and other settings as needed Inspect finished material for quality and consistency Identify and correct print defects during production Complete efficient job changeovers Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance Troubleshoot minor mechanical and production issues Track production counts, downtime, and material waste Maintain accurate production and quality records Follow established safety and housekeeping procedures
Qualifications:
2+ years of Flexographic Press experience preferred Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities Strong attention to detail and color perception Ability to read and understand job specifications Ability to take accurate measurements and perform basic math Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills preferred Previous manufacturing or production experience General Physical Requirements Both positions require candidates to be comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment, including: Standing and walking for the majority of the shift Bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling Regularly handling production materials and equipment Lifting up to approximately 50 lbs. as needed Working around moving machinery and production equipment Working in an environment that may include machine noise, inks, solvents, and other production materials Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) Ideal Candidates We are looking for reliable, safety-minded individuals who have hands-on printing press experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
