Responsibilities Operate and monitor offset web presses to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and accurately. Manage color calibration and color management processes to ensure consistent, vibrant color reproduction across all print jobs. Interpret production documents, including layouts and specifications, to set up and adjust machinery accordingly. Perform routine mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting on press equipment to maintain optimal performance. Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process, identifying and correcting issues related to print quality, registration, or color accuracy. Coordinate with prepress teams to prepare digital files using graphic design software and prepress software for seamless printing workflows. Maintain detailed records of production runs, machine maintenance, and quality inspections for accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience operating offset web presses or similar large-format printing machinery in a manufacturing or commercial print environment. Strong understanding of color management principles and experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of prepress processes, including layout design, typography, and print advertising specifications. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments on industrial equipment. Familiarity with digital printing, flexo presses, screen printing, and other printing techniques is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and precision in print production. Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
