Job Description

Position Summary The Screen Print Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automatic and/or manual screen printing presses to produce high-quality apparel and promotional products. This position requires attention to detail, color accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards. ________________________________________ Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate automatic and manual screen printing presses. Read and interpret work orders and production schedules. Align screens, register colors, and adjust press settings for optimal print quality. Mix inks and maintain color consistency throughout production runs. Load and unload garments and materials efficiently. Inspect printed products for quality, registration, and defects. Troubleshoot printing issues and make necessary adjustments during production. Clean screens, squeegees, flood bars, and press components after production runs. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality standards. Assist with reclaiming screens, burning screens, and other pre-production tasks as needed. Work closely with the art department and production team to ensure customer specifications are met. ________________________________________ Qualifications Required 1-3 years of experience operating M&R, ROQ, Anatol, or similar screen printing equipment. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and color accuracy. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment. Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Knowledge of plastisol, and specialty inks. Experience with screen preparation, reclaiming, and exposure processes. Understanding of color separations and Pantone color matching. ________________________________________Physical Requirements Frequently stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals associated with screen printing. #waco1
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
