• Full-time A Southwest Virginia commercial printing company is seeking a motivated Assistant Press Operator to join our team at our Roanoke, VA facility.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience assisting or operating sheetfed offset presses, or relevant experience in a pressroom environment, including work with envelope presses, die-cutting equipment, or other print-related machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the setup and operation of sheetfed offset presses Perform routine press maintenance Hang plates and prepare press for production runs Set up and operate the feeder Support the First Pressman as needed Complete additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous pressroom or printing experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM

PM Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience.
