Responsibilities Operate Epson digital presses and related equipment to produce vibrant, accurate prints according to job specifications. Perform prepress tasks such as file preparation, color management, layout design, and ensuring files are print-ready using Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools. Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and correct color discrepancies, registration issues, or mechanical problems. Manage material handling including loading substrates, adjusting machine settings, and troubleshooting technical issues promptly. Maintain detailed production logs, monitor machine performance, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Collaborate with graphic designers and prepress teams to refine print files for optimal output quality. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and manufacturing standards during all phases of production. Skills Strong knowledge of digital printing technology, especially Epson digital presses or similar equipment. Experience with screen printing, flexo press operations, or CNC machining is a plus. Proficiency in prepress workflows including file preparation and color management techniques. Skilled in graphic design principles with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with layout design, typography, and print advertising standards. Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to flexo printing or CNC machining enhances versatility. Ability to operate forklifts and perform basic quality control inspections efficiently. Understanding of safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
