Job Description
About the Role We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our production team as Welding Support and Fabrication Specialists. In this role, you will play a critical part in our manufacturing workflow by ensuring components are accurately prepared, aligned, and joined to meet high-quality structural standards. Responsibilities Collaborate with the production team to facilitate efficient material handling and component assembly. Interpret complex blueprints and weld symbols to ensure precise fit-up and alignment of parts. Execute high-quality MIG welding operations, including tacking and final structural joining. Perform rigorous visual and dimensional inspections to verify that finished products meet all technical specifications. Utilize various hand and power tools to prepare surfaces and finish assemblies safely. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to optimize production flow. Document production progress accurately to ensure quality control and traceability. Required Skills Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and metal fit-up processes. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and weld symbols. Physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform manual labor throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with the ability to use precision measuring tools like tape measures. Effective communication skills in English and a commitment to workplace safety protocols. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a high-volume industrial or heavy manufacturing setting. Proven ability to pass standardized internal welding qualification tests. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
