Job Title:
Assembler Job Description This role involves assembling a variety of hair clippers using hand and power tools in a clean, well-lit production environment. You will rotate through different stations on the assembly line every two hours, allowing you to learn multiple tasks and avoid repetitive work while helping maintain consistent product quality and output. Responsibilities Assemble a variety of hair clippers using hand tools and power tools according to established procedures and quality standards. Work with small parts accurately and safely, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and secured. Rotate through multiple stations on the assembly line approximately every two hours to perform different assembly tasks. Follow detailed work instructions and production guidelines to meet daily production targets. Inspect assembled products for defects or inconsistencies and make adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to facility cleanliness and safety requirements. Collaborate with team members and production staff to support efficient workflow and minimize downtime. Handle general production and general labor duties as needed to support overall manufacturing operations. Essential Skills At least 1 year of assembly experience. Ability to work with small parts with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Experience using hand tools in a production or assembly setting. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Capability to perform general production and general labor tasks. Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred. More than 1 year of assembly experience is a plus. Comfort working with both hand and power tools. Willingness to learn multiple lines and stations within the assembly process. Work Environment This position is based in a very clean, well-lit manufacturing facility focused on hair clipper assembly. The role is on 1st shift, working from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You will work on assembly lines that rotate tasks approximately every two hours, using hand tools and power tools to handle small parts and complete various production operations. The environment is production-focused and team-oriented, with clear processes and organized workstations designed to support efficiency, safety, and comfort during the workday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sturtevant, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
