Job Title:
Assembler Job Description Join our team as an Assembler, where you will work on assembling metal products, either partially or completely, on a bench or the shop floor. You will be responsible for putting together a new product line for cloud cooling systems, which range from 6 to 14 feet tall and enclose all the wiring and fans necessary to cool cloud systems for various companies. The role involves working with seven types of cooling units and requires an ability to use hand tools, measuring tape, and follow both verbal and written instructions. Responsibilities Assemble metal products efficiently and productively. Work on a new product line for cloud cooling systems. Use hand tools and a measuring tape accurately. Follow verbal instructions and read work instructions. Work on units ranging from 6 to 14 feet tall, enclosing wiring and fans. Essential Skills Not afraid of heights or tight spaces. Level 1: Assembly experience, hand tool experience, SAP/Access portal/work order experience. Level 2: Assembly experience, able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch, blueprint reading, verbal instructions following, SAP/Access portal/work order experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Willingness to learn and a good attitude. Ability to work daily and be reliable. Experience with extrusion and cutting aluminum to drawing specifications is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean manufacturing machine and assembly shop that is not climate controlled. The role requires daily use of hand tools such as wrenches, rivet guns, torque tools, mallets, drills, and table saws. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots, eye protection, long pants, and a T-shirt are required, with eye protection provided if needed. The shift runs Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with optional overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
