Job Description
Job Title:
Assembler Job Description Candidates are expected to read technical drawings and assemble equipment such as power distribution units, static transfer switches, energy storage systems, and other integrated products. Responsibilities Assemble complete products or subassemblies to specifications by understanding and following electrical schematics, CAD models, part drawings, and bills of material. Interpret standard documentation and techniques and apply to custom applications based on existing products. Create point-to-point control and power wiring based on schematics, including crimping, soldering, and the creation of wiring harnesses. Electrically assemble new variants of existing products, including minor mechanical assembly. Understand and apply best practices for electro-static discharge handling requirements where necessary. Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections. Identify any missing parts from assemblies. Essential Skills Assembly experience Proficiency with hand tools and power tools Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints Experience with soldering and crimping Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical or electro-mechanical diploma from a Community College or equivalent is an asset. Knowledgeable in the use of common hand tools and portable power tools such as drills and impact drivers. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is well-lit and climate-controlled within a manufacturing setting. The shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrenceville, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
