Role:
United Gunworks is looking for an Assembly Technician with hands-on experience in 2011, or 1911 platforms. If you've got mechanical instincts, a sharp eye, and a love for breaking things down and putting them back together better than before—you'll fit right in. Whether you've been building pistols or just wrenching on engines in your garage, we want someone who lives for precision and performance. This isn't a desk job. You'll be building, tuning, and refining high-end firearms used by the top shooters in the world.
Core Responsibilities:
Full disassembly and reassembly of 2011/1911 pistols Diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct mechanical and functional issues Perform trigger tuning, slide fitting, and component matching Inspect parts for proper fit, function, and finish Work closely with the production and QC team to maintain performance standards
Who You Are:
Experienced with 2011/1911 platforms Mechanically inclined—you probably love working on guns, bikes, cars, or engines Can read parts, feel tolerances, and make adjustments without a manual Detail-oriented with a passion for clean builds and smooth function Comfortable using hand tools, vises, jigs, and precision measuring equipment Self-motivated and proud of your craft Someone who thrives in a fast pace and every changing environment
Requirements:
Prior experience as a gunsmith, armorer, or high-level firearm builder Must be 18+ with legal ability to work on firearms Must pass a background check Able to sit/stand for long periods and work with your hands all day No felony convictions Why United Gunworks?
