Assembler - Tempe, AZ -1st shift

Assembler needed for a c ontract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Tempe, AZ.

Contract Length:

12 months, possibility to convert to client

FTE Description:

Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.

Responsibilities:

Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Required Qualifcations:

HS Diploma/GED Good hand/eye coordination - manual dexterity is required as will be working with glass product Read drawings/blueprints/work instruction Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English (required Close attention to detail and quality J-STD soldering exp Desired Qualifications Microscope experience Sodering experience Experience handing small products/microchips Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology (preferred) Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production) Soldering certification preferred Employment Prerequisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.
