We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Entry-Level Assembly Tech to join a manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have basic experience working with hand tools, power tools, and metal components. Candidates should be comfortable following work instructions, using measuring instruments, and working in a team-oriented environment. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required. Candidates who are eager to learn and develop their mechanical skills are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Assist with the assembly and fitting of metal components according to work orders and manufacturing specifications. Utilize various hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, and secure mechanical components. Read and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, and basic technical drawings. Use measuring instruments such as tape measures, rulers, calipers, and other gauges to verify dimensions and proper fit. Handle, position, and prepare metal components for assembly. Inspect assembled components for proper alignment, fit, and overall workmanship. Perform basic mechanical adjustments and assist with troubleshooting assembly issues. Work closely with experienced mechanics, leads, and other team members to complete assigned tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow company safety procedures and established manufacturing practices. Assist with additional production and assembly tasks as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Basic familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers. Familiarity with power tools such as drills, impact drivers, and grinders is preferred. Basic understanding of measuring tools, including tape measures, rulers, and calipers. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Willingness to learn how to read and interpret work orders and basic technical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Comfortable working with metal components in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills. Ability to follow workplace safety guidelines. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, fabrication, or metalworking. Familiarity with various types of metals and metal components. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, or assembly diagrams. Previous experience working in a machine shop or industrial manufacturing environment.
