Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of repetitive operations to assemble precision Electro-mechanical products or mechanical subassemblies where methods and sequence of assembly are clearly written and described.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Uses various common hand tools and power assisted assembly tools. May operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment. Performs a variety of production and manufacturing processes, such as staging production assembly parts, and manually installing key tops, switches, levers, and wires. Exercises responsibility for quantity and quality of parts. Operates various production assembly machines and may use hand tools to assemble products. Visually inspects parts to standards. Returns flawed products to Production for reworking. Packs finished product. Performs routine preventative maintenance. Reads and interprets basic engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and operating procedures.
Education and/ or experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent to 6-12 months of related experience and /or training.
