$21.00-$25.00 per hour (Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications) Purpose The Assembler is responsible for performing mechanical assembly operations on a variety of submersible and surface-drive pump products in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. This position supports safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations while contributing to Trillium Flow Technologies' commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Assemble pumps, pump components, and related equipment according to engineering drawings, bills of materials, work instructions, and established procedures. Read and interpret schematic drawings, assembly instructions, bills of materials, and other technical documentation to determine assembly sequence and requirements. Retrieve, verify, and transport components and materials to workstations using forklifts, overhead cranes, jib hoists, and other approved material-handling equipment. Inspect components prior to assembly to verify correct part numbers, dimensions, materials, and condition. Fit, align, adjust, and assemble pump components including suction cases, couplings, bowls, impellers, bearing retainers, mechanical seals, seal systems, motors, discharge heads, and associated piping. Operate assembly equipment and tools including hydraulic presses, pneumatic tools, impact guns, drills, chain tongs, wire brushes, and various hand tools. Identify and report quality concerns, defective materials, equipment malfunctions, drawing discrepancies, or other abnormal conditions to the appropriate supervisor. Perform basic inspections to ensure assembled products meet quality and workmanship standards. Complete required production, labor, quality, and inventory documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards and 5S principles. Follow all Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), Quality Management System (QMS), and company policies and procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team efforts to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum one (1) year of assembly, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred. Experience working with mechanical equipment, pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery is a plus. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment will vary. In certain areas of the facility personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs.
