Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Precision Assembly Technician to join our team in Livermore, California. This is an onsite position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ⦁ Working both independently and in coordination with engineering support to characterize, assemble, and test precision targets and target components. ⦁ Performing intricate assemblies and precise positioning of valuable, fragile parts under a microscope (from centimeter down to micrometer scales with sub-micrometer tolerances), both by-hand and with computerized control. ⦁ Operating computer-controlled LabVIEW instrumentation systems under multiple extreme conditions, such as high pressure, high voltage, cryogens, and radioactive materials. ⦁ Interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and informal sketches to perform precision assemblies, component inspections, and quality assurance workflows. ⦁ Operating in an ISO 5 / Class 100 cleanroom environment while strictly adhering to safety mandates, established operating procedures, and protective garment requirements. ⦁ Recognizing, reporting, and assisting with diagnosing assembly and operational problems or anomalies in equipment and testing environments. ⦁ Creating, maintaining, and communicating thorough and accurate data recordings while training others on complex process flows.
