Perform quality checks as needed & properly record results if necessary. Alert Lead person of any quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns, or any other situations. Key Accountabilities Utilizes all available hand and pneumatic tools and appropriate machinery Occasional climbing of rolling ladders to retrieve materials Able to work safely in an environment with continuous forklift traffic Communicates equipment status to operations personnel before, during, and after the job. Assembles and tests large backflow valves Qualifications/Requirements The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to forklift traffic The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. (Safety protection will be provided) The employee may spend 100% of their work hours on the plant floor Must be able to troubleshoot equipment/process problems and propose solutions. Problem solving skills are essential to this position. High school diploma preferred but not required. Total Rewards and Benefits Competitive Salary
