Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in electromechanical equipment, is seeking a Fabricator to join their team. As a Fabricator, you will be part of the assembly department supporting the production of switchboards and lighting panels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • What's the Job?
  • + Assemble or modify electromechanical equipment such as switchboards and lighting panels using mechanical tools and blueprints.
+ Operate hand and power tools common to the mechanical trade to process work orders efficiently. + Read and interpret technical documents including blueprints, bill of materials, and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly. + Gather parts and accessories required for assembly and ensure units meet specifications and customer requirements. + Prepare finished units for shipping by packing, sealing, and labeling, maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
  • What's Needed?
  • + Basic computer skills and familiarity with mechanical and measuring tools. + Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English effectively. + Physical ability to reach, grasp, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy materials. + Capability to make coordinated movements of hands and arms, and perform tasks involving stooping, bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing.
