Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cable Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical cables, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical components in accordance with detailed blueprints and schematics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronics assembly, surface mount technology, and electrical wiring standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality electrical systems and support our commitment to precision and reliability in manufacturing. Responsibilities Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble cables and wiring harnesses. Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology techniques to assemble electro-mechanical components. Build electrical panels and wire electrical components following blueprint specifications and IPC 610 standards. Perform soldering tasks with precision to ensure secure connections on PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) and other electronic assemblies. Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to verify circuit integrity. Troubleshoot assembly issues through engineering troubleshooting methods and rectify wiring or component errors. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics and resolve assembly challenges efficiently. Experience Proven experience in electronics assembly, electrical wiring, or related manufacturing roles. Familiarity with PCB assembly, surface mount technology (SMT), and electro-mechanical component integration. Knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Hands-on experience with soldering techniques, power tools, hand tools, and machining processes. Understanding of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable. Ability to utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters for circuit verification. Strong mechanical assembly skills combined with engineering troubleshooting capabilities. Prior exposure to electrical panel building or wiring harness fabrication is advantageous. Candidates with a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills in electrical systems, and a commitment to quality are encouraged to apply.
