We are looking for a meticulous and high-agency Assembly Technician to execute hands-on hardware builds in our R D facility, directly contributing to the hardware that powers our intelligent diagnostic platforms. The Role You will be a critical part of our hardware engineering process, responsible for assembling the physical components of our diagnostic systems. This role requires exceptional precision, an ability to interpret complex technical instructions, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting. You will work closely with our engineering teams to iterate on prototypes, improve assembly workflows, and ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability for our enterprise deployments.
Core Responsibilities Precision Assembly:
Assemble complex engineering hardware components to exact company specifications, ensuring the reliability required for critical industrial environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner tightly with the hardware and R D engineering teams to ensure accurate, timely build cycles and smooth transitions from prototype to production.
Quality & Troubleshooting:
Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly issues on the floor. Provide actionable feedback to engineering to enhance product quality and design for manufacturability.
Process Improvement:
Actively evaluate and refine assembly processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency without sacrificing precision.
Lab Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure R D workspace, strictly adhering to safety and operational standards. Requirements Proven experience in hardware assembly, manufacturing, or a similar technical R D role. In-office 5 days a week at our SF R D facility. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to closely follow technical schematics, documentation, and rigorous procedural instructions. High agency and strong problem-solving skills; you do not wait to be told what to do when you encounter a roadblock. Clear, concise communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, capable of adapting to rapidly changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
