Full Job Description Required Skills & Experience Required Qualifications:
Hands on experience in mechanical assembly, engineering technician, robotics, aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, or related technical environments. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Experience with soldering and harnessing Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience with robotics, automation, autonomous systems, or electromechanical products is highly preferred Experience supporting engineering teams with validation, testing, or prototyping activities. Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, sensors, or PCB assemblies. Familiarity with root cause analysis and hardware debugging. Key Responsibilities Assemble robotic systems, subassemblies, and components using engineering drawings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Perform mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assembly tasks. Support engineering teams with prototyping, testing, validation, and debugging activities. Conduct functional testing and inspections to verify system performance and quality. Troubleshoot and repair hardware, mechanical assemblies, wiring harnesses, and robotic components as needed. Document assembly procedures, test results, and identified issues. Utilize hand tools, power tools, measurement equipment, and testing devices safely and effectively. Assist with inventory management, material handling, and workstation organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment. Support production ramps and shifting priorities as business needs evolve. Be willing to assist in both assembly and engineering-related tasks as neede Job Description The client is seeking Technicians to support the build, assembly, testing, and continuous improvement of next-generation robotic systems. These individuals will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to assemble electromechanical components, troubleshoot hardware issues, execute tests, and ensure robots are built to quality standards. This position is ideal for candidates with backgrounds ranging from hands-on mechanical assembly to more advanced engineering technician experience. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, using hand and power tools, following technical documentation, and supporting various stages of the robotics development lifecycle.
Pay:
$40.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
