  • Advanced for their Santa Clara, CA location.
Responsibilities:
The assembler will be responsible for assembling electromechanical prototype products in an engineering lab environment. The candidate will be required to collaborate with project stakeholders regularly to understand daily tasks in a fast-paced engineering environment. Follow verbal and written process steps for assembling prototype products Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to develop best assembly practices Propose improvements to reduce product cost and assembly time Redline assembly procedures and Bills of Materials based on findings Assist Manufacturing Engineers with developing work cells
Requirements:
Experience range to 5-10 years. Associate degree or higher in manufacturing or mechanical engineering (preferred) Experience with hand tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.) Soldering experience PCBA (through-hole and SMT) certifications/experience (preferred) Fabrication skills (e.g., hand drill, drill press) (preferred) Familiarity with production and lean principles (preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to convey complex information and build consensus
