Aerospace Assembler Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling aircraft components and structures using precision tools and techniques, with a focus on installing rivets, bushings, and bearings to meet strict aerospace quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
Assemble aircraft components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications Install and secure rivets using pneumatic or manual tools Fit and install bushings and bearings to required tolerances Perform drilling, reaming, countersinking, and fastening operations Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper alignment and fit Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Document work completed and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors Collaborate with team members and quality inspectors to meet production goalsQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Familiarity with rivet installation, bushings, and bearing assembly Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesPhysical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed Comfortable working in confined spaces or on elevated platforms when requiredWork Environment:
Manufacturing/production floor setting Exposure to noise, vibration, and industrial equipment Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required Monday•Friday, 7:30 am to 4pmPayrate:
