Job Title:
Assembler Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team responsible for finishing and assembling precision metal components. This position involves using hand tools and equipment to remove excess material, perform quality inspections, and ensure finished products meet company standards. Responsibilities Remove excess metal and burrs from machined parts using reaming tools, files, and hand drills. Utilize hand tools and other assembly equipment to complete product modifications and assembly work. Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Perform visual and dimensional quality checks throughout the production process. Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Report defects, quality concerns, or equipment issues to supervisors. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly and production processes. Experience with hand and power tools. Strong skills in quality control and inspection. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments preferred. Comfortable using hand drills, files, reaming tools, and other hand tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and follow written instructions. Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Engage with precision metal components using various hand tools and equipment. The role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, emphasizing a focus on safety and organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
