This person must be a team player, willing to help wherever help is needed within the Portables team. The position entails ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively; good soldering skills highly desired. This person will be asked to undergo a background check.
Duties:
Assembling and testing gas detectors.
Job Requirements:
Ability to perform basic assembly from detailed instructions Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work overtime as requested High School diploma or equivalent
Skills/Knowledge:
Good soldering skill is must. Machine shop experience is preferred. Able to read assembly drawings and technical notes Troubleshoot to component level Able to perform continuous short cycle work Able to operate power tools and drill press.
