Full Job Description Assembly Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team and contribute to the manufacturing process of our products. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to assemble components and sub-assemblies. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks. Inspect parts for defects or imperfections and ensure they meet quality standards. Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and resolve assembly problems. Keep accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels and work performed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and assembly areas. Adhere to production schedules and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of finished products. Assist with the testing and validation of assembled products as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical or electrical assembly preferred. Proven experience in electric, pneumatic, and mechanical assembly or manufacturing, preferably in a similar industry. Experience working with 8020 aluminum strut is a huge plus. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production demands. Full-time, permanent position. Salary plus bonus and competitive benefit package.
