Job Description

Wiring Assembler Cablenet Aerospace is seeking an experienced Wiring Assembler to join our Production Department. This role assembles and inspects electrical harnesses to engineering drawings, travelers, customer specifications, and industry workmanship standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Verify travelers, part numbers, revisions, and quantities. Inspect materials for defects or damage. Prepare cables by cutting, de-jacketing, and stripping. Perform hand crimping on 8-28 AWG using stamped and machined contacts. Perform basic leaded and lead-free soldering, including tinning. Complete potting tasks, including boots, connectors, and breakouts. Build assemblies to critical dimensions and required tolerances. Perform in-process inspections and sign travelers after each step. Follow IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD, and other applicable workmanship standards. Properly identify, package, and label materials and assemblies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Follow all company and industry safety requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of cable/Wiring Assembler or related manufacturing experience . Experience with hand tools, inspection equipment, stripping and crimping tools/machines. Ability to read assembly drawings and electrical schematics. Basic soldering experience. Basic understanding of
IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks. Aerospace or contract manufacturing experience preferred.
J-STD-001
certification preferred. Physical Requirements Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs. unassisted. Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. Perform repetitive hand and body movements. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Report to work free from alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances.
Participate Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
