Job Description

Assembler - 1st Shift (Full-Time)

Pay:

$18/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30

PM Location:

Essex, CT •Temp to perm•We are working with a prominent, family owned American manufacturer of electrical connectors and accessories to find full-time assemblers. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with hands-on assembly or machine experience who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy and quality. Key Responsibilities Operate basic machines and perform assembly work Print and apply labels to parts and products Apply oxide inhibitor to aluminum connectors Insert screws and caps into insulated connectors Assist with machine setups as needed Operate drilling and tapping machines Support grounding assembly processes Assist with small presses and tapping for grounding Confirm inventory and submit tickets to the materials manager Maintain knowledge of parts and subassemblies Job Requirements Basic machine operation experience Assembly experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused Self-directed and dependable Ability to handle repetitive tasks Safety-focused mindset Our client is actively interviewing!
