) including general, wire, printed wire board, wave, induction, surface mount, and critical disk head soldering as required. Basic knowledge of computers and associated software such as word processing and spreadsheet applications as required. Capabilities shall include documenting and recording the results of completed testing and the rework of products. Assess the level of rework by interpreting and analyzing data to determine the cause of component, subassembly, or system failures. Take appropriate action to rework components and ensure proper operation of equipment. Make recommendations regarding modification of assembly processes. Demonstrate the capability for using Standard Measuring Equipment (SME). Works with engineering personnel in the general maintenance of test equipment, process optimization studies, and tooling improvements. Support company initiatives including ISO 9000 and Statistical Process Control (SPC) ensuring continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and products. Assist in guiding, directing, and training employees in various assembly operations as needed or directed. Remain flexible and willing to work in various work cells depending on company need. Report unusual circumstances or conditions to supervisor as required.Education:
