SUMMARY:
Responsible for the assembly, test, part mark, and packaging of Components. Each Assembler will have a varying mix of tasks dependent on skill and need. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Actively supports the Company's vision and goals. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic knowledge of Navision. A minimum of logging in and out in shop floor automation is required.
- Use of small tools and equipment to assemble products.
- Job will require the ability to understand and translate blueprints, control plans, manufacturing plans, and visual aids.
- Duties will also include part marking. Part marking will be by rubber stamp, computer controlled machines, vibroscribe, electroetch, and other means determined by blueprints.
- Requirements for testing will include, pressure test, functional testing, dielectric and resistance testing, visual testing, flow testing and any other testing required by procedure. No setup knowledge is required for level 1 Assembler.
- All completed work has to be documented according to procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Adheres to requirements of ISO 9001 and maintains procedures and work instructions to satisfy these requirements.
- Active participation in 6s, lean initiatives, continuous improvement, and any other program deemed necessary by management.
