Clean Room Assembler Job Description As a Clean Room Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various precision flow-control devices. This includes circuit board assembly, small motor assembly, and other mechanical and electrical assemblies. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of these devices, which are essential in biotech, semiconductor, and other high-tech industries. Responsibilities Assemble various products following instructions, drawings, and work orders. Perform soldering as part of the assembly process, ensuring electrical soldering is completed accurately. Identify and report incompatibilities or issues during the assembly process to the supervisor. Assist team members across different product lines as needed. Document test results and failure findings when performing quality checks. Follow safety and 5S manufacturing standards on the production floor. Complete assembly tasks on time and with high accuracy. Use hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment such as soldering irons and testing devices. Essential Skills Experience in soldering. Proficiency in using power tools and mechanical assembly. Familiarity with test and measurement devices such as multi-meters and rulers. Ability to see wire gauges 18-24 and ensure proper soldering. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in cleanroom and medical device assembly. Ability to multitask and follow instructions carefully. Attention to detail during the assembly process. Work Environment The work is conducted in a cleanroom environment, requiring full gown, hair net, and booties. The role requires wearing PPE such as non-slip shoes, shoe covers, safety glasses, and gloves when necessary. The hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety and clean room procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boca Raton, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
