Assembler

Our client is currently seeking or in need of an Assembler - Soldering Technician in BVL, FL to support the production of electronic components and electrical assemblies. This position is ideal for someone who has strong attention to detail, steady hands, and experience working with circuit boards, wires, and small electronic parts. The Assembler - Soldering Technician will be responsible for soldering components together while ensuring finished products meet quality and performance standards. Candidates should be comfortable reading instructions, following production requirements, and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

The Day-to-Day:

Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to understand soldering requirements for each project Assemble and solder electronic components onto circuit boards or other electrical equipment according to specifications Perform through-hole soldering, surface mount technology soldering, and rework or reflow soldering as needed Inspect finished products to identify soldering defects, quality issues, or areas requiring repair Operate soldering equipment, including soldering irons, hot air guns, solder pots, and soldering stations Clean, flux, and tin soldering tips to keep tools ready for accurate use Maintain soldering equipment and report any issues that may affect production quality Work with the production team to troubleshoot soldering-related concerns during the manufacturing process Handle small electronic components with care and precision Follow all safety procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous soldering experience preferred Proficiency with through-hole soldering, SMT soldering, and rework/reflow soldering Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Knowledge of soldering materials, fluxes, solders, and proper application methods Familiarity with soldering tools, equipment, and accessories Basic understanding of electronic components and their functions Ability to work independently and as part of a production team Must be able to work mandatory overtime and some Saturdays as required

Pay:

$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with mandatory overtime and some Saturdays required
