Job Description

Q'Straint is the World Leader in Mobility Passenger Securement Systems. We are currently recruiting for a Assembly Tech I. The Assembly Tech I performs multiple complex assembly operations of products and sub-assemblies according to Bill of Material (BOM). Bill of Operations (BOO), assembly drawings and/or other work instructions.
DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure accurate and efficient assembly of fabricated products per work order Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) and job safety requirements Final visual and functional inspection of product, as required per instructions Identify and isolate any non-conforming product Trouble shooting and rood cause analysis and testing Technical review of drawings, recommend work process improvement Participate in Lean/continuous Improvement initiatives Assist with ensuring the safety, cleanliness and maintenance of work area, equipment, and entire plant Ability to train others on work processes Involved in cycle/physical counts, as required Cross train in multiple department functions, as needed Perform other duties according to business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, Experience & Skills) High School or equivalent (i.e. GED), and 2 to 3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals) Ability to read and write English and follow verbal & written instructions Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment Prior experience with electrical assemblies. Prior experience building mechanical assemblies Electromechanical certification is a plus. Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical devices.
