Job Summary
Position Summary The Inspector is responsible for performing inspections of aircraft engines, engine components, and associated repair and overhaul activities to ensure compliance with applicable FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, approved technical data, and the requirements of the EGT Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual. Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Verify maintenance and overhaul activities comply with approved data. Inspect engine components for serviceability. Review maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy. Perform conformity inspections. Verify compliance with FAA Part 145 requirements. Assist with borescope inspections and engine condition evaluations. Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Prepare inspection reports and release documentation. Support FAA audits and customer audits. Assist with continuous quality improvement initiatives. Benefits Medical Insurance 401K PTO Federal Holydays Requirements
Qualifications FAA A&P Certificate or Repairman Certificate. Minimum 5 years of turbine engines inspection, repair and overhaul experience. FAA Part 145 repair station experience. Strong knowledge of OEM manuals. Strong knowledge of FAA Regulation. Excellent documentation skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. High attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills.
