$17.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking experienced Truss Builders , Wall Framers/Assemblers to join our production team. This role focuses on building and assembling wall panels and structural frames using precise measurements, tools, and production specifications. The ideal candidate has hands-on framing experience and can work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Minimum Requirements Previous experience in carpentry, framing, manufacturing, or assembly work required Hands-on experience Truss building or assembling wall frames (studs, headers, layouts, etc.) Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to work overtime when required Essential Duties and Responsibilities Build and assemble wall panels and framing structures according to blueprints, layouts, and production specifications Measure, mark, and cut lumber or materials accurately using tape measures, saws, and other tools Layout wall components including studs, plates, headers, and openings (doors/windows) Install studs at proper spacing (e.g., 16" or 24" on center) ensuring alignment and structural integrity Square, level, and align wall sections before fastening Use nail guns and other power tools to fasten framing components securely Assemble and secure headers, sills, and framing reinforcements Verify dimensions and ensure walls meet required specifications before moving to the next stage Identify and correct framing issues such as misalignment, gaps, or incorrect measurements Work with pre-cut materials or cut materials manually based on job requirements Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, or production sheets Inspect finished wall frames for quality and accuracy Assist with staging, stacking, and transporting completed wall panels Maintain tools and ensure proper handling of equipment Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Skills & Competencies Ability to read and understand basic instructions and communicate effectively Ability to measure accurately and work with production specifications Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to solve basic production problems and follow standardized procedures Familiarity with framing tools and equipment (nail guns, saws, measuring tools) Physical Requirements / Work Environment Must be able to stand and walk continuously during the shift Frequent use of hands, arms, and tools to handle materials and equipment Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Ability to lift 25 lbs continuously, 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, extreme temperatures, vibration, and loud noise Required to wear PPE including ear protection, eye protection, and other safety equipment Required Equipment Steel toe shoes (mandatory) Hammer Tape measure #NRTR5 Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
