Job Description

Medical Device Micro‑Assembly & Repair Technician Entry-Level | Full Training Provided | Growth Path to Master Technician Join a rapidly growing medical device company where your attention to detail, steady hands, and curiosity can turn into a long‑term career. We are hiring multiple Micro‑Assembly & Repair Technicians across three departments (Rigid Endoscopes, Flexible Endoscopes, and Optical Repair). If you enjoy working with tiny components , microscope work , and hands‑on technical tasks, this is a perfect opportunity to grow your skills in a high‑impact industry. What You'll Do You will repair, assemble, test, and troubleshoot medical endoscopes used by healthcare professionals around the world.
This role includes:
Performing detailed repairs on medical endoscopes following company procedures and
ISO 13485
quality standards Assembling and testing scopes (small & large diameter) using specialized tools and equipment Using a microscope for 50-60% of the work (depending on department) Assisting in diagnosing issues and documenting findings Capturing data and images for analysis and customer reporting Identifying and reporting damaged parts or equipment Working at a clean, organized bench setup Supporting additional technical tasks as assigned Training & Career Growth All new hires complete a 6‑month paid training program , where you will learn: How to test, evaluate, and document scopes upon arrival How to write repair quotes and work orders How to perform Level 1 repairs, then progress through Levels 2-4 Calibration, troubleshooting, and more advanced repair techniques Skill development on the path to Master Technician This is a career path , not just a job. Great Fit Must Have:
Excellent hand‑eye coordination Comfort working under a microscope Experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, tweezers, small tools) Assembly, repair, or bench technician experience (professional or hobby) Nice to Have (Not Required): Experience with tiny components (phones, laptops, jewelry, watches) Medical device, electronics, or mechanical repair experience Ability to solder or work with small sensors Associate's degree OR 2+ years relevant hands‑on experience Familiarity with calibration, testing, or troubleshooting Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wellington, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
