Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing/or quality position
• Effective communication skills at a level that co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations
• Ability to perform/operate in a metric-driven environment
• General computer skills

Responsibilities:

• Use a variety of equipment such as inspection and light equipment, handcarts, to move materials, parts, assemblies, and scrap products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse
• Sort and inspect materials
• Must maintain quality records, have good writing skills, and maintain good documentation practices
• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines
• Work under general to limited supervision

Physical Demand:

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Occasionally, lifting or moving at least 50 pounds may be required
• No AC and Limited Heating (summer hot/winter cold)
• Noise level - moderate to loud
