Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a construction or manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Duties Perform MIG Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Conduct assembly of components according to project requirements. Execute rigging tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to ASME codes & standards. Measure and cut materials using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precision. Collaborate with team members on construction site projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Operate forklifts and cranes as necessary for material handling. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in welding and fitting within a construction or manufacturing setting. Proficiency in MIG welding Familiarity with ductwork fabrication and pipe threading processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience using various hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to welding and fabrication. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and follow detailed instructions accurately. Knowledge of rigging practices and safety standards in a construction environment is preferred. Previous experience operating cranes or forklifts is advantageous.
