Packing/Assembler United Staffing Service - 3.7 Winder, GA Job Details Full-time $16 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Packing Organizational skills Materials handling Picking & packing Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Assembler to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing and preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality in every order. 1st shift- 7am-3:45pm with opportunity for overtime-based on production needs

Key Responsibilities:

Pack products securely following packaging standards to prevent damage during transit Assemble simple and complex cardboard displays according to the directions Follow manual handling procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety at all times Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing stock locations and managing storage efficiently Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations, improve workflow, and meet productivity targets

Skills:

Familiarity with order picking, packing, shipping & receiving processes Experience with manual handling techniques and safety protocol adherence in a warehouse environment Mechanical aptitude for understanding material handling equipment operation Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management systems Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Knowledge of quality control procedures related to order fulfillment and packaging Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to efficient warehouse operations while developing their skills in logistics, materials handling, and equipment operation.
