Job Description

Heavy Industrial Assembler - Mechanical | $20-30/HR Job Summary Build custom line-painting trucks from chassis to completed vehicle by installing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ideal for candidates with automotive, diesel, industrial maintenance, or mechanical assembly experience. Responsibilities Assemble custom trucks and install components such as compressors, tanks, spray systems, and hydraulic equipment. Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, fabrication, and system installation. Read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Use hand and power tools to fit, modify, and install parts. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues. Maintain quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedules. Support team projects and cross-training initiatives. Required Skills Mechanical assembly, repair, or maintenance experience. Automotive, diesel, industrial equipment, or machine-building background. Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Proficient with hand and power tools. Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Reliable work history and willingness to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications Diesel mechanic, automotive technician, or industrial maintenance experience. Experience troubleshooting complex equipment or machinery. Hands-on work using tools and equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented production setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muncy, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
