Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gate Installer & Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will install gate operators, safety devices, controllers and related items. Additionally, we also install security access control on standard doors and are willing to train the right person for more comprehensive skills in the field. Experience is preferred. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute gate and fence installations. Fabricate gates and fencing components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and building materials. Install gates, fences, and related structures on-site following safety protocols and project specifications. Handle construction materials with care, ensuring proper cutting, assembly, welding, and finishing techniques are applied. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for outdoor construction work while maintaining safety standards. Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure durability and adherence to client expectations. Maintain a clean and organized work area; document progress through reports and communicate effectively with team members. Experience Proven experience in carpentry, frame carpentry, or fencing installation within a construction environment. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings related to gate fabrication and installation projects. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, concrete forming, masonry, and landscape maintenance is highly desirable. Familiarity with safety protocols specific to construction sites including power tool safety and heavy lifting procedures. Previous involvement in fence construction projects or outdoor building material installation is preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor settings with varying weather conditions. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding project progress or concerns.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
