In this role, you contribute directly to the assembly and production of custom window and glass products while working with state-of-the-art machinery in a clean, organized, and safety-focused facility. You will work hands-on with materials, operate equipment, and support daily production goals in a collaborative, family-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist in the assembly and production of windows and related products according to established specifications, drawings, and guidelines. Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment, including glass cutting tools, edge machines, and other fabrication equipment, while following all safety protocols. Handle glass, aluminum, and other materials with care and precision to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the production process. Perform detailed quality checks on finished products to identify defects, imperfections, or inconsistencies, and take corrective action as needed. Use power tools, small hand tools, chop saws, punch presses, overhead cranes, and related equipment safely and effectively. Read and interpret tape measurements and perform basic numerical calculations to ensure proper dimensions and fit of components. Support mechanical and general assembly tasks, including mechanical assembly and glass cutting, as required by the production schedule. Assist with loading operations, including moving finished products and materials safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper disposal of scrap materials such as glass remnants. Collaborate closely with a small production team to achieve daily and weekly production targets and support cross-functional tasks as needed. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines consistently. Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime and some Saturdays when production demands require it. Work in various production roles as needed, such as cut table laborer, edge machine operator, metal door assembler, loading team member, or floater. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to operate small hand tools, chop saws, punch presses, overhead cranes, and similar equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all work assignments. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical and manufacturing equipment. Ability to lift 65-75 pounds and push or pull up to 75 pounds safely. Ability to stand for the full duration of the shift. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a windows and door systems manufacturing facility that uses advanced glass fabrication equipment, including tempering and insulating glass machinery, The dress code requires steel-toed boots, jeans, and either long sleeves or a t-shirt.
