As a Millwork Operator, you will be responsible for operating production equipment which will rip, size, and mold raw materials into various casings, moldings, jambs and components. This is a full time, 40 hour Monday - Friday daytime position. Advance Millwork has been a staple of Midwest craftsmanship for over 60 years. As an employee-owned company, we believe our people are our greatest asset. We are looking for a professional and reliable production worker to join our team. Responsibilities Set-up, operate and maintain various millwork processing equipment including gang rip saw, band resaw, chop saw and molding machine Accurately measure and cut millwork Stack, organize, label and bundle millwork to be palletized and stored Ensure machines are optimally operating and communicate when components are needing maintenance Maintain a safe and clean workspace while wearing the appropriate PPE Overtime will vary depending on workload Other duties as assigned Qualifications Preferred 2+ years experience in operating cnc machines or production equipment Must possess the knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and working with wood products This position requires frequent heavy lifting, constant standing, handling, stooping, walking, carrying, kneeling, seeing, bending and reaching Ability to safely lift, maneuver & carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, 75-100+ lbs. occasionally Must be able to read and understand work orders with limited supervision Benefits Competitive hourly pay, based on experience - with overtime opportunities Employee-sponsored health insurance, vision, life and dental ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) 401(k) with employer contribution after first year Paid time off and paid holidays Flexible Spending & Dependent Care Accounts Advance Millwork is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
