Job Description

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the company by assisting with various tasks related to assembly and maintenance of equipment and materials. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to put together parts according to design specifications. Ensure that the assembled products meet quality standards. Trouble shoot and resolve assembly issues. Perform routine maintenance to keep assembly equipment in proper working condition. Collaborate with engineers and quality control specialists to improve the assembly process. Report any issues or deviations from the standard process. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Interpret and communicate blueprints and/or shop drawings to understand assembly instructions and product specification for assembly and installation. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints. Understanding different units of measurement and ability to read and comprehend measuring instruments. Attention to detail to ensure precision in assembly tasks. Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members. Mechanical skills with a passion for working on machinery and other mechanical projects. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus. Prior experience in a warehouse environment, with a background in manufacturing or assembly and experience with process improvement techniques (preferred but not required).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
