Job Title:
Assembler 1st shift: 6am-4pm, Mon - Thurs, Mandatory Fridays 2nd shift: 2pm-12:30am, Mon-Thurs, Mandatory Fridays Job Description This position is responsible for assembling wiring and related components used in the production of heating equipment. The role involves working at multiple assembly stations and performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks with small parts. A high level of precision and consistency is required to ensure quality standards are met. Employees primarily work in a seated position and will rotate between assigned stations. Cross-training is provided to develop proficiency across various production areas and to support overall operational flexibility. The products assembled are primarily used in commercial food service environments, including fast-food and restaurant operations, as well as in custom applications for a diverse customer base. Key Responsibilities Measure and cut wire according to established specifications Assemble components using prepared kits and standardized procedures Apply protective coatings to electrical terminals Fill casings with specified materials to complete assemblies Handle small components with strong attention to detail and accuracy Achieve production performance standards following a 1-2 month training period Participate in cross-training across multiple workstations Thread wires through peg boards to construct heating elements Install terminals and apply additional protective layers as required Operate curing ovens and perform basic sensor testing to ensure functionality Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.51 - $17.51/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
