Assembly Technicians Needed! - ALL SHIFTS $18-$20/hr Job Description The General Production Worker is responsible for assembling components and subassemblies in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role supports production operations by following work instructions, operating equipment, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Assemble components and subassemblies according to manufacturing and work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and wrenches to complete assembly tasks accurately Operate basic machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently Move materials, place parts into fixtures, and handle components throughout the production process Perform basic inspection and automated production tasks Rotate between tasks approximately every 3 hours to support efficiency and engagement Lift parts in and out of machines and align nuts and bolts using electric tools Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety guidelines Essential Skills Experience using hand tools, power tools, and tape measures Ability to operate production line or manufacturing equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs Mechanical aptitude and basic problem‑solving skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or general labor preferred Familiarity with production line environments Strong work ethic and dependable attendance history Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cowden, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.90/hr.
