Shift Component Fabricator Schedule:

8:00am to 4:30pm

Pay Rate:

$20.00/hour Summary The Component Fabricator is responsible for cutting foam in accordance with drawings for future assembly utilizing numerous types of saws, CNCs and other cutting equipment. Job Responsibilities Ability to interpret and understand written and verbal assembly instructions Cut foam components according to work instructions and prints by using various cutting tools and equipment (band saw, CNC, pin saw, hand saw, etc.), check and verify conformance to drawings Verify all line items have been completed on the work order prior to final inspection. Possess knowledge of assembly process to limit scrap materials Assist in the inventory maintenance of raw materials and finished components Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed Maintain clean, orderly and safe work area Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process Provide assistance with component assembly, as needed Job Requirements Basic math and measurement skills Utilize various measuring devices including tape measures, micrometers and rulers Strong attention to detail and able to multitask Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to read blueprints
