Job Description

Precision Instruments is a manufacturer of torque tools and control systems for the automotive, energy and industrial customers worldwide for over 80 years. As a third-generation family business, we take pride in products and our employees. We are looking for Assemblers who are willing to learn, motivated and work well in a fast-paced environment for our Des Plaines, IL facility.
Job Summary:
The torque wrench assembler assembles, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms. To be successful in this role you must be able to perform the job duties below satisfactorily with a positive attitude. •Willing to train, but some Assembly experience preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The torque wrench assembler, assembles, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs, as necessary. Ability to transition to other departments as needed for business needs and cross training
Job Requirements:
Some Assembly experience, preferred Good hand-eye coordination Mechanically inclined and interests Works well in a team environment Must be physically capable of lifting to 25 lbs., with proper lifting technique Positive attitude High School Diploma or equivalent
