Full-time Overview :
We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Production and Packaging Specialist to join our dynamic team in the cannabis industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and packaging high-quality cannabis products, including prerolls, cartridges, extracts, and edibles. This role involves handling material that can be both very hot or very cold and requires precision, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of cannabis product formulation. We're looking for a detail-oriented team player on 2nd shift who can thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Cannabis experience is a plus, but not required. We offer a comprehensive training program and have an experienced team ready to help you learn. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a busy environment, we'd love to hear from you. Hours are 4:30pm-11:00pm M-F. Responsibilities Formulate high-quality prerolls, ensuring consistent size, density, and potency. Formulate cannabis cartridges, focusing on flavor, potency, and purity. Process and handle extract materials, applying best practices to maintain integrity and quality. Processing extracts into further consistencies and formulating by strict standards to ensure a high-quality product is always met. Create edibles with precise dosing and flavor profiles, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Ensuring a GMP compliant cleanliness and operating environment. Package cannabis flowers, prerolls, extracts, fill cartridges, and package edibles following strict compliance with state regulations and company standards. Inspect product quality during the packaging process to ensure no defective products are sent to market. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with health and safety standards. Work closely with the production team to ensure packaging supplies are available and product output meets the scheduled timelines. Keep accurate records of inventory and production volumes to assist with supply chain and sales forecasts. Being cross trained to work on different processes throughout the building.
Qualifications :
Knowledge of cannabis strains, extracts, and the principles of dosing and blending. Previous experience in a cannabis environment preferred. Ability to work with high-temperature materials safely and efficiently. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding cannabis handling and processing. Must be okay with no cellphone use on the production floors. Ability to understand basic scientific concepts with a strong will to learn. Proficiency in operating and maintaining various machines which will be determined during the testing phase prior to on-site employment.
